Sony KDL-43W807C -Auto t.v. Speaker activating Randomly

Hi 1st post via Sony Community.

I and others have noticed t.v. Speaker s active message when using an external sound source via Optical or sometimes hdmi

When t.v. Speakers are not in use or set to 0 volume

Sound is heard from external speaker -viaoptical from speaker to tv

or hdmi chain from source to speaker and speaker to tv

Are there any other reports from sony users

I've not heard of any similar issues that you have described. What external sound source are you using?
