Sony Xperia C contacts loading problem

i have a problem when i search for any contacts it takes a long time for loading taking into consideration i disabled auto sync and filtering contacts that have phone numbers only. is it software problem or problem in my phone?

Settings-apps-all-phone,force stop and clear data.Restart your phone.

You can also try to clear data for contacts under the same menu. Restart the phone and try again.

tried it, bust doesnt work. contacts and call log both says oading but never open. even setting has crashed after trying it

Strange. I would suggest that you try to boot your phone into safe mode to see if the problem may be related to any 3rd party app that you have installed in your phone:

If the behavior persists in safe mode I would suggest that you try to repair the phone software using PC Companion:

http://www.sonymobile.com/update

In PC Companion, press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phone/tablet software > click on the blue highlight (Repair my phone/tablet). Do this without the phone connected. Follow the instructions on screen to perform the repair.

I also have the same problem the contacts and call log are always loading for hours and hours. It has been a day now, also the kepad is not loading. Three of them are not loading. I either get a message that android has stopped or I get a messtage that the contacts are not responding.

Please suggest what to do.
