Sony C4 battery temperature too low

I got my sony C4's screen replaced as it was not working. And since the day that my mobile has come from servicing I have a problem that my mobile battery temperature is very inconstant. It is 33degree celcius most of the times but suddenly it the battery temperature drops to -40 and picks up gradually and by then I lose around 30 to 40% of my charge. I happens twice in every charge. Also the phone does not switch on one go, it goes on a loop.

I have tried factory reset and software repair using PCC, but nothing.

Also my battery condition is good and there is absolutely no bump.

wait what? it goes from 33C to -40C? that doesn't make much sense but you should contact your Local support

Thank you very much for replying. I have tried contacting the local support but of no use. All I want to know is if there can be a problem with the sensors of the battery and if calibrating the battery can help? I also do not mind changing the battery if that can solve the issue.

Also it does not jump directly from 33c to -40, there is a gradual decrease and increase in the temperature. but during this process of rought 5 mins, I lose almost 25 to 30% charge.

This is what I would do

Repair the phone with XC > do NOT update nor install any app, don't even enter your Gmail account > test it for couple of hours, if you experience the same

Repair the phone once more with XC > same as before but this time boot in >>> safe mode for couple of hours and test it.

Thank you for replying, I can do that and check. I have once concern. As my battery charge % is drastic, what happens if my battery drains out during the repair.

make sure to charge it 100% before, if it happen, then connect the phone to a wall charger > press and hold power & volume up for 10 seconds > let it charge for 2-3 hours.
