Thanks for the clarification Acid-Rain, I wish we could supply more help regarding this, however it seems there is simply no way to perform this task.

There may be some form of third party application that restricts access to certain sections, this would be your best bet.

I have an Experia E1 & i want to get rid of the flight mode permanently on it. I have supplied this phone to my daughter & she keeps enabling the flight mode & no-one can get in contact with her, it never goes on a plane. Is there a way that i can get rid of it? Thanks

Hi Acid-Rain,

Welcome to the community,

Unfortunately there is no steps I can supply that would allow this type of function. The only reason Airplane mode would be activated is if she is actively accessing Menu > Settings > More > and ticking Airplane mode.

Or she may be holding the Power button and then selecting Airplane mode. This could possibly be a third party app, have you looked through the device first?

Hi to all who have replied so quickly. She is activating flight mode herself, have told her (i don't know how many times) not to use flight mode, use silent instead. At least this would still alert her to calls & messages. She totally ignores the requests, so i decided to ak here to find out if i could delete that function Thanks

Hi, Will have a look around & see, however i won't hold my breath on finding anything. May be something that can be looked at for inclusion into new phones (just make sure there is a password option on it so it can't be tampered with)

Thanks Garry
