Hi there, just a question.

Someday ago I have tried to download an application called "My Piano" and after installed I've got some message that I was infected by 7 virus.

The question is simple: are there any good software, may be freeware, to scan our smartphone to avoid to be infected?

Thank

PS.

I thought....Andrtoind is a Linux derivated system and is well know that a virus in this system is very rare...so, how is possible to be infected from 7 viurus?

If you really feel the need to scan the device, download malwarebytes or avast. I also think viruses are rare on android.

I do think that was not an advertisment but more realisti keylogger that coul be take also in Linux. How can an app warning that you have infected from seven virus in the same time?

This is a very fake app and put google.play.store in a bad light if admit some application that can upside our smartphone. That could the first step to rule google store in trial.

Indeed malware is attached to apps on google play and sometimes it can end up on people's terminals. Go for a search with avast or malwarebytes, those are free apps.

My opinion best antivirus for android is Kaspersky, it paid, but if i remembering righ it cost just premium features. Anti-thief, antivirus is not paid, it's free. But i'm using now Avg for Xperia so i can't say about Kapsersky new terms now. By the way Kapsersky for me closing everytime Stamina mode, coz need internet for it everytime for real time safe, i can't remember how Kaspersky angent it called, but sound something like that. So just for this reason my choice was Avg for Kaspersky, offcourse Avg is free for 180 days So if u don't want to paid, try Avg it's second my advice to u. Others antivirus i did not tried so i can't say u nothing about it

@paolopd
And how would the app know you're infected with so many viruses, it's not built to do that. Or if it's not the app then were you get this message from since you have no anti-virus software on your device.
This is simple nonsense I came across many times while surfing or through other apps. You click on it and it directs to download some other software (anti-virus and such) and sometimes this is malware itself.

If we talking about internet pages with warning messages which is full internet, that's fake warning messages. It's to deceive a visitor, recipient. User which pushing on this fake warning message is linked in another page where is offer for him fake antivirus service, if you agree with this, system automatically is linked you in yours messager app where is ready text template with this fake service order, when you sending this app you losing money and don't get any protection service, that's how i know about this fake process
