xperia e PC connection problems

i have an annoying problem with my xperia e. first when i got it in the first days i connected the USB to my PC and the phone starts charging and shows at my pc small window to open the USB in a folder...so i can put in my phone music and such..yesterday i connected my phone and its not showing me anything in my pc. but the phone is connected and charging only.i tried to restart the computer or the phone.
and checked that it is not the fault of the USB cable . and also downloaded the "Sony PC Companion 2.1"
and when i tried to use it , it didn't find any phone plugged in my pc.
hope someone can help me fix this problem.

Connect your phone > on your PC > computer > Xperia E do you see that?

Unplug your device Go to Settings > Xperia > USB Connectivity ( Try Switching USB connection mode )
