Hi @jonah1, I am sorry to hear about that.

What happens when you hold the power button, and then choose to power off? Does it not turn off, and stays on or? What happens if you try to force a shut down by pressing volume up- and the power button simultaneously until it vibrates 3 times?

Could you also try removing the SIM to see if it restarts by doing so?

Let me know how it went and please fill me in with some more details!

That sounds strange. What happens when you try to power it off normally using the power menu (hold down the power button > Power off)?

think its the actual lower button itself as it can do a quick power on off but i think its not going to lower back onifi let drain of power completely e

wich im trying not to do as i have not had it long but i cant really say anything about it at present thank you for your help i have only just found your replys btw

I do not quite understand what you mean, could you please specify it a bit more for me? Do you mean that the power button does not function?

yes that is exactly what I mean i think the button has been forced inwards making it useless i trird all the optiibs but i think this only goung to be resolved by taking it the sony repair cebtre but i would like to find iut how long it will taje before i get it returned any idea

I agree with you on this, if the power button is physically misplaced then I recommend that you have it sent to an authorized service center so that a technician may have a look at it for you.

I would like to be able to assist you in sending it in, but I am sorry to say as I am based in the Nordics, I'm only familiar with our local service routines. For this reason, I advice that you get in touch with your Local support team for assistance in having it sent in as they are well informed regarding the routines local to your market!
