topic Power button not working in E Series

This morning the power button on my Xperia E5 stopped working completely. I've tried holding it in and just pressing it in but it does nothing. I know the phone is still on because I'm getting notifications through to it. If i plug it in the screen lights up as well. It just seems like the power button isn't responding to anything. I can even hear the click when I press the power button in but it's still not working at all.

this seems to be a hardware problem. I suggest to take to your local service center Local support
