Xperia E1 Screen not working

I bought an Xperia E1 the last week, but today I was using using it normally when the screen turned off.

Now the screen is totally black with no light, even after rebooting or repairing my phone with Sony PC Companion (but i can hear the booting melody when I turn it on).

Somebody got an idea on how to fix this ?

Sounds like a hardware failure of some description so you need to return it to the place of purchase for a quick either exchange which you should get under EU law or a refund or you could contact Xperia care and ask for your nearest service centre http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/

I thought also it was an hardware problem, but thank you a lot for your confirmation !

Now I'm going to exchange it at the shop where I bought it.

i bought xperia e1 dual on july after 1 day i recieve a notification of update so i updated it. when its done i off it until the next day when i turn it on the screen already like got virus many lines n blurred so i take it back to sony centre where i bought it. I ask them to repace it or change but they cannot change it they said because it was aready registered on my name. What is that? They only told me they will repair the handphone in 2 weeks time and now it already 3 weeks the sony centre still never give it back on me.

im having the same problem, my screen is dark but the phone still boot, but i have bought it more than a year ago what should i do?
