l cannot use phone menu during the live call

When i am on a live call, the phone menu doesn't work properly.

I cannot use back button till the call is active. I cannot check phonebook. All i can use is Home Key that's it.

So if you press the home key you're not able to navigate to your phone book during a call?

You should be able to navigate through most of the phone menus even during a call.

No, I am not able to navigate to my phone book, i cannot use any applications as well. I know normally in all the phones we are able to use it but i can't use in this

I just tested here and I'm able to navigate to any menu in the phone during a call. Make sure that you open the contact application and not the phone application. The phone application will only take you back to the phone call view.

Have you update the phone to the latest available software using PC Companion?

Hey,

when i tried using phonebook in safe mode i was able to see contact details and all but when i turned off the phone and switch to normal mode the same problem started. What should i do in this case...

In that case it sounds like the problem is caused by one or some 3rd party apps installed in your phone. Try to uninstall a few at the time until the problem stops occurring.

Thanks for the help. it worked but now another problem started.

I did software update through of 4.2 and now my gaming and some other apps are not working at all.

I got a notification to update the software. But when i did the update it was done successfully but later when i saw the games and other apps stopped working. The apps which were not update after the phone update works fine but the rest i am not able to open, the screen goes blank. What should it do?

There's nothing you can do, as its up to the developers, not Sony to fix this compatibility issues, make sure to let the game/apps developers about this issues.

I don't have this particular Xperia so I can't replicate this issue.

Hey,

Y cant u solve the update issue like 4.1. I was really happy with the 4.1. It never crashes the game. Nor i faced and issue during transfering the data to SD card.

The update u bring it should contain more solution but instead u guys have created more problems for us.

I saw one more issue during typing message that the Enter key (↵) does not work while typing messages earlier it was working fine with the update.

I have recently updated my phone with Sony Service center but still i face these problems.

I tried to uninstall all apps in my phone (Z Ultra (C6806)), but the problem still persists. This began since 4.2.2 update (comp. 14.1.B.2.257). What can I do???
