Xperia L Restore Problem and missing Cosmic Flow Live wallpaper on Xperia L 4.2 update

Hi,

Problem 1#

I recently updated my Xperia L form Android 4.1.2 - Android 4.2. I noticed default small apps like calculater, note was missing. So, I backed up my data using Backup & Restore app installed in Xperia L and performed factory reset.

After factory reset I got small apps back. So, I tried to restore the phone using the same Backup & Restore App. But the phone keep rebooting during settings restore which was around 8%. And I have tried this several times.

Please Help!!

Problem 2#

Since 4.2 update the cosmic flow live wallpaper is missing. As mentioned before I performed the factory reset but it didn't came back.

Please Help!!

Hey!

Thanks for reply, I am working on solution for first problem. I have downloaded SUS and its downloading the firmware so its okay.

But what about the backup which have been already made up with Backup & Restore App pre-installed with Xperia L. I mean your link doesn't help in that case.

I had a similar issue with my Xperias from 4.0 to 4.1 and on another Xperia from 4.1 to 4.2, I haven't been able to find a way around this

Okay, I have repaired my phone with SUS but still no sign of Cosmic Flow Live Wallpaper, and phone again restarts at 8% of restore process.

Cosmic Flow Live Wallpaper not available in new version. Sony removed it.

I think you can not able to restore your data due to a changed software version.

First thanks for cosmic flow info and second Did you read my Problem ? I made backup after the update and then carried the factory reset. So how the freaking H did the software version changed.

I finally Found the solution.

The default Backup & Restore App of Xperia. I had to redownload all my apps present prior to Factory reset. And then restore was successfull.

The Cosmic Flow as mentioned by some member before is not part of Android 4.2 update of Xperia so downloaded the apk manually.

Sorry for super late reply.

Was kind of busy,

First I redownloaded all the apps from google play and then I performed restore from stock backup/restore app. And i got all my settings back.

And regarding cosmic flow apk just google it you will find it.
