There is these 3 repair shops that I've asked and they said that its is the motherboard. I've asked them what are the possible causes, they don't give any reasons.

This is the story. There was this application that I opened accidentally. I thought that the application was just loading, so I’ve waited. Until I've noticed that my phone was overheating and it already hanged up; I just waited for the battery to be empty overnight. And then morning after, I tried to charge the phone, there was this red light indicating that it was charging but there was no picture or image showing that it was really charging.

Did you go to the nearest sony service center to obtain a repair? They will replace the correct broken part

Maybe motherboard/CPU was already damaged or the big overheating caused by the hanged app damaged it

If you plug the power supply the led is always red or becomes orange and later green?

Try to remove static electricity: unplug battery, keep pressed power button for two minutes and then replug battery and turn on the device.

Plug it to a PC/Laptop and try if possible to repair firmware with Sony PC Companion

I appreciate it alot Another thing po pala, when I charge the phone there is the red light but after awhile the red light disappear. And Yes, I've already went to a xperia shop, they said that they commonly program the phone if the phone overheated, but they said the phone was not capable to be programmed.

I have bought sony X-Peria-L on february 2014. After using 6 months i faced the first problem with the phone- phone switched off all of a sudden and then after sometimes i tried to switch on and it worked. I faced the similar problem in next few days. As it was in warranty for one year, so i went to my nearest service center( which is just beside kalighat metro station at kolkata, west bengal). They informed that mother board of my xperia L mobile is damaged and it is required to be fixed. So i am supposed to submit the phone to them and they will informed once the phone get repaired. After few days i got my phone and it was working since then. Again on august ' 2015 i got the same problem of sporadic switching off for while. I again visited to same service center. After checking the phone they informed me- the mother board of the phone is faulty and i have to buy a new parts of the same and it costs- Rs 9000 around as it was in out of warranty! I became hopeless and firmly believe that sony has given me a mobile with faulty parts. When it was in warranty, they somehow managed to repair it but again the problem revealed after some months because of quality issue. I really felt cheated with the workmanship of this SONY mobile company when quality & customer satisfaction comes first beyond of money for any brand.
