Call recording issue.

I am facing an issue with my new Xperia L , it is not supporing call recording from both sides , i have tried with many apps. but all it can do is record my voice and not record the voice form other end . I have searched over internet and found that it is a flaw for handset side and not form app. or android side. I have used samsung galaxy grand and call recording apps worked fine with it.

I want to know of there is a possible way to overcome this flaw & if someone has successfully recorded call from this handset I would like to know the name of app. used and the setting for that app.

I know that I can record voice of both sides by using loud speaker while on call but it is obviouslyit impractical .

I have also this problem. Previously I had Xperia X8 and with Sony firmware I was able to use any recording software. But with the xperia L no call recorder is working. This is due to Hardware and Firmware combination.

Yes, this is a flaw in Xperia L(not only on L). But Sony has to understand this recording feature is very common basic feature which they have to think on it. Because, every non smart mobile supports it.

Hi RIckard,

I installed and tried in Xperia L(c2105). Its not working.

Anybody help me providing a good app for call recording (both sides simultaneously)

Thanks ...WOW !! it worked for me , finally after trying atleast 20 apps this one solved the issue , i havent tried it without earphones but it works with earphones smoothly .

you have resolved the only flaw i found in my Xperia L

Really..? but I have checked with both settings for recording i.e., phone line and ear piece( something like that, i couldn't remeber the other option properly.), but no one recorded for me, it showed 0 secs as track time length. I didnt checked with earphones attached.

Tell me if it works without earphones attached.

I have installed Incall Recorder again after you told me . I tried without earphones attached.

Now it is recording when i call, but recording very low sound on other side, couldn't even hear properly, but our side it is recording fine/clear(settings shown in below screen shot)

When i change Recording Paramenters ->Audio source to phone line as show below , it is not all recording on opp side.

kindly tell me if you tried any settings to work better such that it could record clearly on both sides simultaneously.

Hi,

My current settings are

Audio Suource - Phone Line

Gain level - Level 1

It is working for me with earphones , without earphones voice of other end is not clear as you said but with sony earphones there is no difference between voices on both ends.

Try with orignal sony earphones.

Then, it is needed to find an app. that works well without earphones too.

For time being, we need to use Incall recorder by attaching ear phones.

Why does sony expect its users to use 3rd party apps? Is it short of capabilities to implement basic features that even other basic non smart phones can perfrom effortlessly?
