Lock screen sounds won't turn off

My phone arrived today, one of the first things I tried to do was turn off the lock screen sounds, I have done so in the sound section of the settings but it won't turn off..! It's driving me crazy as it has started to randomly do it now while I am using my phone when it isn't even locked. Can anyone help please

Hi @Mum4,

I'm sorry to hear this. To turn off lock screen sounds go to: Settings > Sound > Other sounds > Screen locking sounds > Off.

If you have this setting off and are still getting sounds when locking and unlocking your device, I recommend that you reboot your device to safe mode to see if this behavior is caused by one of your downloaded apps as these will be disabled in this mode.

Hi even in safe mode it is still doing it. I really am getting frustrated now especially as it is doing it when I load my contacts or just click on the Internet. I am really not sure I want to keep the phone now. I think I will have to send it back. 😔 I really like the phone in general I am really gutted.
