Xperia L1 is unreadable by my Mac

Hi all,

When I connect my Xperia L1 to my Mac a message comes up say the disc I inserted is not readable by this computer. This happens when after I'm asked to install the software.

Any ideas why this is happening?

Rather odd, what if you reinstall XC on your mac?

XC = Xperia Companion

I've tried this with both Xperia Companion and Bridge to Mac but with no success.

Sadly that didn't work.

I tried reinstalling Bridge to mac as well

Fake software by Sony.

I tried to import my iphone data via icloud and nothing happens!
