How to enter in band mode?

Hi @Basso__Ostinato,

Welcome to the forum!

Are you referring to the service menu? If so, open up the dialer and enter *#*#7378423#*#* or *#*#service#*#*. This will open up the service menu in your phone. But as far as I know there isn't any setting to disable a specific network band in your phone, the only option that I'm aware of is to select which network mode to use (for example to only connect to the GSM network).

Unfortunately, *#*#7378423#*#* doesn't work at Xperia M2 Aqua as well as many other codes I try. Generally I want to set my phone to UMTS-900 only. Or to block UMTS-2100. How can I do it?

I tried that code in an M2 and M2 Aqua (both running the latest software) here at the office and it's correct. If it didn't work at first, try rebooting your phone which might resolve this.

However, when I had a look in the phones above the only setting I found was for selecting a specific network mode such as GSM only. There where no standard setting for blocking a specific network band.

I have found the programm at GooglePlay - NetMonitor. It allows to choose specific band UMTS: Automatic, EURO Band, USA Band, Japan Band, AUS Band, AUS2 Band, Cellular (800-MHz Band), PCS (1900-MHz Band). Thus, I may choose the frequency forcibly all the same. But there is no Band 8 (900MHz) as luck would have it. Is this an insoluble problem? Really?

I'm glad to hear you where able to find an app that suits your needs! But like I said, there is no standard setting for this in the phone I'm afraid.
