Market Problem Login

Hi, I have xperia x8, and I can't log into my google account on Android Market. Whenever I try it shows me that there is no stable data connection to the server can be made, even though I have the full wi-fi reception. I've tried several times but it doesn't work. I cannot download anything. I need urgent help ! What should I do?

I solved in very unorthodox way, i added my account with the youtube app and since google owns youtube it added the account automatically to gmail and market apps.

I can not download programs on my xperia x8 phone with a serever a ocurred return to retry or cancel with i can not connect to the market
