Call history/log is not showing up

Hi,

I made a call from the call history (to a last called number) and then locked the screen from there. Then when I unlocked the screen, I am not seeing the call history atall !!! Its showing blank, I tried to restart and make calls, etc. but still the history shows empty. Anybody else faced this issue ? Any known workarounds ?

This is a big problem as call logs are very important feature for me as a basic phone itself. Please give your suggestions.

Go to dialer > press menu button > show call log

Z1 not showing call logs, tried portrait, landscape, all possible settings combinations, nothing...transferred phonebook from Xperia Ray...Contacts+ does the job...

for xperia U users you can go to dailer n den press the extreme right point down on the phone n hold it for 2 secs den then the "show call log" option pops out. click it and enjoy...

Hi, I bought last week Xperia Z1 Compact on Android 4.3.

My log is not showing and I defintely have the option (from bottom right) as "Show Call Log" on.

Call log is still not showing, I have restarted my phone several times and still have blank page.

If anyone has a solution as this very annoying and can't find advice anywhere.

This is Xperia P section.Try and remove the micro SIM and put it back in.Also,restart your phone.

Check if they are hidden.Also,try settings-apps-all-phone,force stop and clear data.

I am having the same issues and dont know what to do. It can't be so complicated to show missed, dialed, received calls. All options are shown yet the phone shows only last call. frustrating

I have also an empty caller log even if have missed a call or made a call. Where is the "hidden" option, I cant find out how to get the log working so need urgent help......

It should be if you tap the third sensitive button in call log.

I am having the same problem with my Z1 Compact. I have tried restarting my phone, replacing SIM card etc and I have definitely selected 'show call log' in settings but it is still empty and not showing anything. Are there any other solutions as all suggestions have so far failed.

I have tried this and no joy I have a Sony compact Z1. and no call log has ever been there? It's relatively new I got it working Fri n I transfered all my numbers from my iPhone did this upset it? Please help it's very frustrating!!!

I have the exact same problem with my Z1 compact. Empty call log, definitely have the 'show call log' option ticked. Restarted, took the SIM out and all that jazz. Eventually, I got a new SIM, did a factory reset, which solved the issue temporarily. Couple of hours later it went missing again! I can't be asked doing a full reset every time the phone log goes missing! Surely there must be a way to fix this? I'm tempted to get my old iPhone out

Hi there.

I was facing the same problem and found some kind of a solution.

I've installed a call log from Google Play (Call Log Monitor, one with a red icon) selected all the log (with the check boxes) and delete the log. On the Phone log it appears a message saying "Call log empty", tried to make a call and the call appeared on the log.

Problem solved, with a little effort.

I think that the problem is with the recover app from Sony, so... DON'T use it
