Can't Download Apps or Update Apps

Everytime I try to download a new app (free) I get an error message saying "Error processing purchase DF-BPA-13"

Also when I try to update apps I get an error message "Could not be downloaded due to an error RPC:AEC:0"

I am connected to wifi at home and get these messages, also when I am out of home when I have roaming access.

do you have GB or ICS?

if you have ICS > settings > apps > all > market/play store > clear everything and uninstall updates

GB > settings > apps > manage apps > all > market/play store > clear everything and uninstall updates

I am in the UK and am using Android, by GB I assume you mean UK.

I tried what you suggested and am now getting the error message "could not be downloaded due to an error (-101)" This was when I was trying to download a free app.

GB = Gingerbread = android 2.3.4

if you have ICS/android 4.0 > settings > apps > all > market/play store > clear everything and uninstall updates

GB/android 2.3.4 > settings > apps > manage apps > all > market/play store > clear everything and uninstall updates

I have Android 4.0.4-UL5_3w and have cleared the app as above and am still getting error message (-101)

try resetting your phone after backing up everything

UPDATE: It was only fixed for a couple of downloads. Gonna wipe 😞

Just FYI: This solution worked for me and is less of a pain. If the problem returns I'll do the wipe.

PS: I'm on a Samsung Infuse. The solution was for a Samsung Fascinate.

i am still facing the same problem i was not able to download some apps on my phone someone told me to upgrade my phone to Android 4.0 and i did that but then i was not even able to update installed apps i reset my phone to factory settings now and still facing the same problem i cannot update any app and i cannot download some apps.
