Audio Issue

When i connect my earphones into the jack connecter on the phone then i start the music player and i get no audio playing through the earphones, the audio keeps playing through the built in speaker on the phone when it shoud'nt. Has anyone else had this problem?, becuase i have only got today to get this issue sorted. I have to sent the phone off to the repair centre tommorow before my guarente runs out. Any good help would be apprichiated cheers.

Hi, a few things you could test ....

Did you test with another earphone?

Did you try calling (with earphone)? Can you hear the other person (from earphone)? If yes, probably a software issue which might be resolved by Software Repair.

Last question .... is it the original earphone that came with the phone?

Of course the easiest way is to send it in for warranty.

I have checket for sure the ear piece is working becuase i pluged the ear piece into my guitar amp and the audio comes through the ear piece fine.

I just done a phone call test and i could hear the other person fine.

Yes the ear piece is the one that came with the phone.

I have a feeling it is a software issue but i already have reinstalled the whole android software again already. The audio is playing through earphone again now but for it to stop and play through speaker and then start playing through earphone again its not working correctly. So i think it is time for warranty claim.

You could probably do software repair again (your decision). Anyway, since you have decided for a warranty claim, hope that you get your phone fixed.
