Have you tried to do a repair of the phone software?

Click on this link to get Sony PC companion:

http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/

Before starting the repair, create a backup of your material.

Start PC companion, start "Support Zone", start "Update phone software" and click on "Repair".

Follow the on-screen instructions.

are you sure? i keep on restart,i can answer phone call with guessing the slide but can't see anything

May be

cable called flex cable for the display has gone bad and needs replacement.

Genuine Sony Ericsson Xperia Play R800 Z1i Slide Lcd Flex Cable Ribbon Connector.

Hi,

I have sony ericcson Xperia play, it is showing the same white screen from past few days and I have tried to repair the software. The problem is inorder to detect my phone in pc companion my phone has to be unlocked but am unable to unlock it..Please help me out of this.
