Hi Guys,

Could you please help me on the below query.

MY XPERIA SOLA screen tells me "unfortunately,xperia Home has stopped" ..I cant go into home page and everytime i press ok also it keeps on coming and so i cant able use the phone.

I dont what is the issue.It happened twice..But,once after restart my phone works fine before case...

Right Now i have shutdown and started it for more than 5 times and again again my screen tells me the same..."unfortunately,xperia Home has stopped".

Kindly help me here folks.

Did you try to install any third party home screen launcher? Try to boot into safe mode: http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/FAQ/How-to-boot-your-phone-into-safe-mode/m-p/348008#U348008

If problem doesn't arise in safe mode, then some app that you recently is probably interfering with Xperia home. Uninstall it: Settings--Apps--All--choose the recently installed app--Uninstall. If problem is still there in safe mode, try to clear data of Xperia home: Settings--Apps--All--Xperia home--Clear data. This will delete all your home screen preferences like widgets, home screen shortcuts, home screen folders, etc. Reboot.

Hi,

I can't able to go for safe mode...whenever i try to press the power off button within 1 sec the "unfortunately,xperia Home has stopped" has came.so i cant able to go to safe mode also...

Because of this i cant able to navigate to ant place..

Any other option.Thanks for ur last reply..Needed a reply for this ASAP.For the last two days i havent used my phone .:smileycry:

Press power and volume up buttons simultaneously and hold them down till you feel a vibration. Your phone will restart. When it restarts, try tapping intermittently or holding down menu button to boot into safe mode. If this doesn't work, try holding down power and volume up buttons simultaneously till you feel three vibrations, your phone will be force-shut-down. Then power on.

If that too doesn't work, you have only one option - repairing your phone through PC software as uliwooly mentioned.

You don't need to do anything as drastic as factory resetting. Go through Settings/Apps then look at All apps. Scroll down the list to find Xperia Home, select it, then Clear Data. This should fix the problem.

My xperia z2 does the same thing every time I attempt to boot in safe mode. I am tired of the issues that have begun with this phone.

unfortunatly , my contacts have stopped on my sony experia,what can i do as i cannot phone my contacts
