Xperia T just keeps restarting!

Hi,

I have updated my software to 4.3 two days ago and since then phone is restarting every minute. Tried to use update service to repair and It started working well but the day after again the same situation. Could you please advice what should i do?

Thank you for advice. I did it and nothing happened. My phone is still restarting. Do you have any further advice or you suggest to take phone to official service partner?

same here. uninstalled all updates to chrome. Helped for last 24 hours.

any body else same problem / solution?

Try to remove the updates for chrome,maybe even try a software repair:

Same here. Device keeps on restarting. Safe mode made no diffenrence. Already did a complete re install via the mentioned methode, but after that same problem!!!

It seems that when the device is in my pocket the problem occurs, but when the device is on the table or used, no problem occurs.

Strange, but I'm very sad. I had a great device and after the update only problems and I need my phone for my work. Is there a way to downgrade to 4.2?

I think that the option to bring it in for a repair is nog a right one! No problem under 4.2 and a problem under 4.3 for more devices (not one!!) seems to me like a bug in the software.

Hi everyone. My Xperia T seems to have the same problems. Everything was OK with android 4.1.2 . After all of the publicity, I wait the 4.3 official Sony update and I made it. After about 1 day , my phone begin to restart and keep restart randomly while the phone getting hot , until the battery is drained. I tried to reinstall the software 5 times , with factory reset and all data wipe , with Sony PC Companion 2.1 , with Sony Update Service and nothing changed. I try to keep the phone in Safe Mode ,still the same. After the last 2 complete installation, I stopped the updates from my Google account, but also nothing changed . All what I found it's that , when I remove the SIM and make the restart by itself , the problem it's resolved for about 1 or 2 days. Don't tell me it's because of the phone because with the anterior version all was good. Only if the Sony's 4.3 update broke the phone and that seems to be a BIG problem. If anyone discover anything else, please give me a tip. Thanks and sorry about my English .

Try to remove your micro sim and put it back in.Sometimes the device restarts when the SIM moves from its place.

Hi Alexdon. Thanks for replay . I just told you that I did that and it work only 1 or 2 days. Since I discover that , I do this every time it restart. Only with this I can use the phone . But it's not a remedy. The fact is that only when I take the sim out and reinsert , it's OK . If I restart or force restart the phone , it's no help. Thanks again.

I know you did,I was also suggesting this to others.But I am sorry you only have this option.Have you tried using another micro sim?

Not yet. I put my Sim in another phone (Xperia Arc S) and works just fine. I keep it 2 days. Tomorow I wil buy another sim and see what it's happened .

Hi again. I just bought a new SIM from shop to keep my number. I need more 2 days to see if it helps. So fingers cross . Today , I keep the phone with the sim out and the phone does not restart at all . I keep updated.

no uninstall chrome didn't help.

But reinstall all updates via Sony PC companion on a Windows pc did help.

PC Companion will tell you all updates are already installed but you will be able to force it to reinstall the update.

This will erase all internal memory, not the SD card memory.

Your back-up is on-line at google?

Hi to all. Still no problems with restarting after I change my Sim card. Mine , when restart , show me the message like SIM not available / restarting the phone . Like I pull out the SIM card. Let's see what's happened in the future. Bye!

Hi again. It's clear now . Since I change my SIM , I've no problem with the restart of the phone . The cause was clearly the SIM. Only thing what I have done when I updated the phone was to take SIM out while I did It. So , ADMIN , you can tip the case resolved with the change of SIM. If someone meet the problem , maybe this is the cause. Bye to all.
