My phone fails to download from the store. It gives me an error msg "google talk authentication failed. Kindly help me with a solution. I use xperia play

Google Talk? that's probably the wrong app, it has been replaced by Google Hangouts.

Settings > apps > all > look for everything that's google and clear the data, also, why are you trying to download an app that's preloaded on your phone.

Have you retried the sign in? tap the notification and tap retry sign in or whatever shows up. Notify me if this doesn't work for you.
