Why nq vault working differently on sony sola and sony ericson neo?

I have nq vault installed in sony sola, sony ericson neo and samsung C7

When i import pics videos to vault which are stored in sd card so these pics and vidoes are moved to internal storage and is encripted("what vault does")

But when I import pics etc in vault in my samsung c7 which are stored in sd card so the pics etc are copied to internal and imported to vault and get encripted

But the original file stays on sd card also(privacy issue in my opinion:/)

So I liked this thing in both of my sony cell that it moved those files intead of copying them

But i want to know is this really a case does this also happens to other fellow members who use sony?

Or it is just an tecnical error and the reality is this that what samsung did exactly the same sony also do while importing files to vault which are in external card(sd card)

Please tell?

I have sony ericson neo and sony xperia sola; both of the devices have screen locked(password protected) but when I connect them to my laptop via usb so without unlocking the device I can access my internal memory and external memory

Why is this happening?

What I know is that every device should be unlocked to be accessible with pc or laptop via connected by usb

This is a major privacy risk in my opinion please help
