Xperia mini ST15i memory card upgrade

Hi friends is there any one who upgraded the 2GB memory card that comes along with the phone? am planning to upgrade to 8gb card now

1) which company microSD card should i opt?

2) Can my mobile support SDHC card?

3) upgrading to 8gb memory card result in sluggish performance?

4) What happens to apps installed in memory card, If i copy paste the contents of memory card to my new memory card ?

Need answers!!

in my case, i didn't use the free 2GB Micro SD included in its package but instead, i used my OLD 8GB MicroSD from my previous phone Nokia 5800 XM. i didnt find any Problem on that, so:

1. I think any brand will do. as long as you back up your Files if something goes wrong.

2. Can't answer this one but i think most MicroSD nowadays were SDHC.

3. Well in my case, The phone boot up was slow because the loading of many Apps. so i guess If you have many Apps on installed on your MicroSD then it might Slow your phone's startup, but it wont affect the phones performance. only the loading of your Gallery (Video, Images and Music)

4. i didn't tried doing that but most probably, the apps that are installed will be corrupted if you just Copy and Paste it, needs reinstallation of those apps.
