Hazel. How to access internet via pc?

Hi. Can anyone tell me how to access internet via a USB connection to my pc, thereby using the pc's internet connection? I have activated the function on the Hazel.

Hi,

I would suggest following the steps below. The first set of steps are completed on the handset itself:

1. Menu
2. Settings
3. Connectivity
4. USB
5. USB network type
6. Via Computer

Now connect your handset to your PC in via USB and select Phone Mode. The next steps are done on your PC:

1. Start
2. Control Panel
3. Network Connections
4. Right Click on your Internet Connection
5. Select Properties
6. Click the Advanced Tab
7. Tick Internet Connection Sharing
8. Click OK.

Your PC will now be sharing its connection with your handset and is ready to be used. I hope this helps you.

Hi!!

But in Cedar i am not getting any thing like phone mode when connecting my mobile to PC.

I am simply getting "phone ready to be used with device" and then getting connected to PC.

can u please help me out in this problem of connecting Internet to phone via PC in Cedar???

I am waiting for a reply..

You can select Phone mode before connecting to the PC: Main menu--Connectivity--USB--Set Default mode--select PC mode.

Also, from the same menu: USB--Advanced--Internet Access--select Via Computer
