Recovering my email address

I have an Xperia XA. I am trying to change the password on my phone but I keep getting the message "Not a valid e-mail address. Please try again." How do I recover my email address for my phone as I have forgotton which one I use? I have many e-mail addresses.

Do you use multiple email addresses for Play Store also?

Usually, the email address used for Google Play is the one used to set up the phone.

Unfortunately, I do not know the address for Google Play.

Any other suggestions?

Do you actually have access to your phone, or you forgot your unlock password and it asks you for the setup email address in order to have access to your phone?

I have access to my phone but I can't change my Sony password because I have forgotton which of my many email addresses I use.

Please say how I can recover my password. Can I do it in settings?

In Google Play, on the left, tap the 3 horizontal lines and you should see an email address. That should be also the one used to set up the phone. What Sony password are you talking about?
