Screen Flickers

My xa ultra all of sudden flickers the keyboard and the menu flickers and theres lines at the backlight. Words and symbols flickers like a bad reception on the tv. I dont know why. Please help how to fix and is this covered by the warranty?

Hi @deadlycymbals,

I'm sorry to hear this.

I would recommend that you make sure you don't have developer options enabled in your device. To do so go to: Settings > Developer options > Off. If you cannot find developer options under settings they are already disable.

I'd also recommend that you reboot your device to safe mode to see if this behavior may be caused by one of your downloaded apps as these will be temporarily disabled in this mode.

If there is no change I recommend that you perform a software repair using Xperia Companion.

There's no develepor oprions on my settings. Its disabled. I went through safe mode and ultra mode it got worse. Do i have to go through the repair companion?

If you don't want to or can't do a software repair using Xperia Companion, I would recommend that you get in contact with your Local support team for assistance with having your device sent in to an authorized service center for further troubleshooting and repair.
