SD card error

Sometimes I turn my phone on and i cant access anything on my SD card, and other times i will get notifications saying 'SD card unexpectedly removed' and something along the lines of 'SD card not supported'. What should i do? Is it my SD card or my phone?

Welcome to the community,

Sorry to hear about this issue, let's see if we can help resolve it.

The first step I suggest would be backing up the SD card to a PC/mac computer and then formatting the SD card, in most cases the issues is related to bad data on the SD card simply removing it with a format generally resolves these types of issues.

Hi, it worked fine for abit, but now my phone has started getting the same notifications again but when i tap the 'erase and format' button it just closes and says unable to format and my pc can no longer read my SD card. Do you think it's the card? Thanks

This sounds like the SD card is not functioning as it should, honestly, I would suggest replacing the SD card, I think this would be the best option in this case.
