I have a problem with my phone. Sometimes it starts to vibrate randomly when I use it. Never when the screen is of. Especially when I use keyboard it starts. It makes the phone work badly as I can't type or use my touchscreen correctly anymore. It happens randomly, so not whenever I touch the screen or open my phone. I don't know how to solve this. Can anyone help?

Hi @Margot1,

Welcome to the community.

I'm sorry to hear that. As @Quester suggested can you try to reboot your device to safe mode to see if the behavior is due to one of your downloaded apps as these will be temporarily disabled in this mode.

If the same behavior persists you can try to do a software repair using Xperia Companion.

Let me know how it goes!

I just did. It didn't happen in safe mode. However, I am not 100% sure as sometimes nothing happens in normal as well

That would indicate that the vibration is caused by one of your downloaded apps.

I'm afraid that it is very hard for me to say which app may be causing this but I recommend that you make sure all of your downloaded apps are updated to their latest version. You can do this if you go to: Google Play Store then the 3 vertical lines in the left corner > My apps & games > Update all. If you don't have a button for update all, all of your downloaded apps are already updated.

If the behavior still persists with your phone vibrating I recommend that you try to uninstall apps until you find the one causing this, starting with the most recently downloaded ones.

Let me know how it works out!
