Loudspeaker distortion and bad sound after getting wet

So a month ago or so my Xperia XA got wet. I wiped it but didn't turn it off. At first the volume was very low. I thought that it would fix itself after it dried.

The next morning the audio output quality was bad. Distortion appeared and some sounds like basses and high pitch sounds sound bad.

It's been a month or so. Everything else works fine and I am satisfied with it but I am a music person. Would replacing the loudspeaker solve this problem or could it be caused by another component like a flat et cable or some transistor/chip on the motherboard?

Please help me, I am unsure and eager to get it fixed asap. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the community. I am sorry to hear about your experience with your phone.

I recommend you contact your local support team to have your device assessed. The Xperia XA is not a waterproof phone so there could be some liquid damage.
