Install apk does not work anymore

Hi,
I have chosen open apk defaulted by AVG anti virus. And now i can't install apk file agian. It scan the apk file and then do nothing. Please someone who can help me, or introduce me how to turn off the defaultion of open file apk.

@VNese Go to settings - apps - avg antivirus and clear defaults for the app. If this does not help, you can reset app preferences under settings - apps then 3 dots.

It sill doesn't work, AVG doesn't have any defaults and i reset app preferences , too. But i know the problem here, i had downloaded apk files from Chrome (newest verson from Google Play), and i can't install any of them. But when i share file from laptop to my phone, i can install it. So weird. Any ideals?

Under Settings -> Security -> Make sure "Unknown sources" option is enabled.

Yes, of course.
I think the problem comes frome the newiest version of Chrome.

I had downloaded apk files frome Chrome before, and i still be able to install it.

If you think that a recent update of Chrome caused this, try to refresh the app:

- Go to Settings -> Apps -> Chrome -> Force stop, Uninstall updates, the go to Storage -> Clear data and restart your phone.

- Try installing APKs while your Chrome is still in an older version.
- Go to your Play Store and update Chrome again.

- Try installing APKs again on the updated Chrome version.
