Xperia go - I can't turn off wifi

I have problem with wifi on my Xperia Go.

It was working properly until December, when I upgraded to ICS.

Wifi start and connect correctly to all networks, but problem start after few days of using it. Wifi can't be turned off and I can't cancel connection with network, and then connection fails. Battery is discharging faster and only way to turn off wifi is to restart the phone.

I have tried to update phone (6.1.1.B.1.54), it works few days and the problem reappear .

Can you please help me how to solve it?

Have you tried resetting the phone after repairing/updating it? If not, you should try it. If the problem still occurs after this, send it in to a service center for repair.

Repairing does not help.. many others have already told you that - you need to have an update

Please do not ignore us. "Assumed answered ??"
We need to know If this will not be solved in the very near future - because in this case we will need to find an alternative (buy another mobile, get the money back from shop, and make sure everyone knows about sony behavior so no one else will make the mistake we did).
Again - we are not against Sony -all we need is to know that you plan to solve it in the near future
Please respond and talk about the issue itself (and not about the fact that you ahve already transfered the problem to someone and why we open more and more threads)

The 20th of february I have reseted my phone after repairing it. It still works very well without any problem of wifi!!!

So, fingers crossed, but I didn't have any problem since 3 weeks...

Yesterday I told you everything was ok since I repaired it and resetting it....

Today I still can't turn off wifi!!!

We need help ! What can we do ?

I have the same problem. I bought the Xperia Go ST27a 4 months ago and until the last week it worked fine. Now I can't turn off the WiFi even if there is no network connection available. It only turn off when I restart the phone but then when I turn WiFi on it happens the same problem again.

Is there any soluition for this problem from Sony?

Does anyone find a way to fix it?

Model: ST27a
Android: 4.0.4 (updated from PC companion)
Kernell: 3.0.8+
Compilation number: 6.1.1.B.1.10

Hi,

It's there anything Sony want to say?
