sim card randomly disconnected

Hello, I just brought my phone recently but I just keep getting no sim card notification as and when the phone likes. I can turn off the phone and wait for 5mins or so before powering up for it to work. Sometimes I have to take out the sim card and put it back again. Is this the phone faults?

It could be a SIM reader issues but it would be worth trying an alternative SIM card in the phone before going down that path.

What do you mean by sim reader? Is it covered under warranty because I just brought it recently...

The SIM reader is the hardware within the device that reads the SIM card.

By chance have you tried using an alternative SIM card, as such an issue can be related to the SIM.

If this does not resolve the issue, I suggest taking the device back to the place of purchase.
