Can't connect to the server error on office mobile application

I have installed the “Office Mobile for Office 365” in my android mobile. While signing in to the application with the ID am receiving the following error “Can’t connect to the server”.

I am using Sony Xperia L and I have tested the same with Sony Xperia ZR as well. Facing the same problem. where as it is working fine with Samsung mobile.

OS : Android 4.2.2

Try removing the proxy/port from your internet settings under Settings -> More -> Mobile networks -> Access Point Names and see if that helps. I also recommend that you try this over WiFi.

If that doesn't help you need to contact the developer of this app for further assistance.
