Pc companion

I installed pc companion, but when i click "start" on "Support Zone" it says aplication not installed. Looks like it cant access internet, cause when i check settings and proxy settings it says that pc companion cant connect to internet. I tried even with firewall turned off. My OS is Windows 8 64bit

Try run as administrator,see if it works that way.You want to update with pc companion?

Just tried it, doesnt work 😕 Yes i want to update it, actually try to repair it cause mine touchscreen dont work (top 1.5 cm dont work, no reaction to touch, altough it shows everything, shows surface update etc.)

Download sony update service,try repair with it.

But i tried that also, dowloaded from sony site, and cant find my xperia SP on the list of devices. Z1, Z, L and other are there but no SP. I tried lot of stuff, and then came here for help, dont worry i tried everything first. Do you have some other link for SUS cause on that one there is no mine phone?

Nope,that is the SUS recommended for everybody.I have seen many encounter this problem,they cannot see older devices,but SP is rather new.Cannot you select from other categories,like year or something?Try to reinstall PCC.

I do not know,it is so awkward,somebody has all the models,somebody does no have all the models...

Sony has removed SP out of the last SUS. It is really annoying....

OK, i installed PCC on other PC (OS: good old xp), repaired my phone, hole process and guess what, top 1.5 cm still doesnt respond to touch 😕 what should i do now? hlep guys?

It could be hardware issue,take the phone to a sony service.

i doubt it, cause surface update wouldnt work, and as i can see im not the only one with this problem. Bravo Sony.

Well there is no other option is it thanks anyway. I guess you shouldnt buy phones from sony in the year they are getting new PS on market XD
