Is XSP a mobile worth buying?

I am planning to buy a brand new XSP soon but the reviews from my pals have been very confusing, regarding software issues, battery backup and most recently sound problems after software update. I would request the experts around here to guide me as I don't want to spoil Rs.23K just like that for a gadget.

SP has a great hardware, practically no lag. Good battery life. Nicely built. But if you want the best camera or wi-fi range, maybe you'll look at other phones

plagued with problems. Wifi being the worst. Save yourself the hassle for 2 years and get a samsung or an iphone.

I've owned mine for a couple of months now and was pretty impressed at first, but I wish I had gone for something else now. Battery life is just OK - even though it has a good high capacity battery I stuggle to get a full day of low-moderate usage (push email, some internet browsing, a few calls, no gaming) on a charge if I'm out and about. Same story with the processor - it's just not as fast as it should be - was pretty good at the start, but now I get lags when typing/switching between apps. Pointless Sony bloatware that hogs too much of the tiny 5Gb internal memory - you will need to spend a little more on an SD card. The display is again, just OK - the Samsung super AMOLED has a much better viewing angle. Build quality is good - it feels very solid, but I don't like the pointy corners.

I bought the SP to replace my old HTC Desire S, and going on specification it should have been a huge step up, but it just doesn't feel like it. I'm regretting not looking at the Nexus line. Oh well, I'll know better next time.

Its a v.good midrange phone,you won't get better build quality/specs for the money (can be picked up for about £180 in the UK),good value! 😉
