I have the same problems as you.

Battery drain is very annoying and 100% NOT caused by an app. The phone has nothing installed and is exactly like it comes brand new.

The only thing I've found that helps is to uninstall google+ and then it drains much much slower. But it comes back if I update any app on play store.

It is either a bug with android 4.1.2 or sony's firmware.

Two days ago I bought my new phone xperia sp but i've notced that overnight it's battery has drained from 100% to 80% and also during normal usage like texting it looses it's battery real quick. Even i've disabled bluetooth, wi-fi, hotspot, GPS and enabled stamina mode but still it keeps loosing battery at a high rate. I would also like to mention that sometimes like when i touch the screen lightly, the toch dosen't respond, especially while touching the home and back button and then I touch it with a little more force then it works. Why is it so? It's irritating. Does it have something to do with Glove mode "On"? I would appreciate some help and suggestions. Thank You.

*It's Xperia Sp not xperia P* i'm sorry

I moved your topic to the right section.I suggest you force restart your phone(power button+vol up until the phone vibrates). After that, uninstall any taskkillers, free ram apps, battery savers. The SP is known to have some touchscreen issues, especially when the phone is on a horizontal surface.

i know it's stupid but i just can't force restart my phone. I held the power button and volume up button together for about 20 seconds but nothing happened, no vibrations and nothing. But yes I did uninstall task killer app

Mine drains the same as yours, about 20% overnight with phone doing nothing.

You cant restart SP with volume+power button. You need to remove back cover, there is a little yellow button.

3g drains battery extremely fast, even if I do nothing and phone is in stamina mode. That is why I have to set to 2g at night, that helps me a lot. But Sony has to fix this issue.

I am using 2g only and still drains fast.

No apps are showing usage, its like battery is magically disappearing.

same here spixel even i use 2G instead of 3G but still it's the same case! 2370 mAh battery is supposed to last long. I guess it's the recent firmware update that sony has launched for SP

hey! you should just factory reset it again. I tried it and battery has shown some improvement. i just took it to the care center. they backed up the data and contacts then factory reset it.

It may be only temporary. I've seen improvements sometimes but then it goes back to draining fast.
