Guys I need help with this cuz I've been all over google trying to find something, but in vain.

Remember Xperia V when you used to click the button once for play/pause, twice for next song and thrice for prev song?

Great. I bought an Xperia Z1 yesterday and it isn't doing any of this.

I tried smart connect, smart key and many apps from the playstore.....absolutely nothing.

So if any of you ever faced this before and managed to fix it 100%, tell me how the heck you did that before I lose my mind *pulls hair out*

are you using the same headset? or the supplied headset of the device?

try it when you are in safe mode

Safe mode nothing as well.

Some people were talking about flashing the .534 firmware so I wanted to try that too.
