Hi,
I already disabled the battery optimization for whatsapp but still have the problem that I do not receive messages when I've been idle for a while. I only get the messages when I open whatsapp as if the battery saving mode is turned on.

It's not only whatsapp...all Notifications have this problem on the dual sim version and sony just doesn't care. We already bought the phone and paid and this kind of problems is very hard to show to the people who work at support centers so why should they bother. This is the way sony deals with their customers.
I've had this problem with notifications since day one and no one here was able to help me and the problem is just ignored. Same as the Bluetooth connection failure problem.

Does this only happen for Whatsapp? Do you experience this on any other application that you have disabled optimisation on?

Hi, I have a similar problem with LED notification. When I receive a Whatsapp message (1 to 1 message), the notification LED blinks with the correct color. However, when I receive a Whatsapp group chat message, there is no LED notification. The Stamina mode on my phone is turned off.

Could you help me understand why the LED does not light up after I received group chat messages? Thanks.

I used to have issues with notifications but its app specific. And related to the ringtone setting of the app. search this way.
