Battery does not charge properly

I recently bought a Sony Xperia XZ and noticed that charging the battery takes like 6 hours or more. I tried switching the battery saving option on and off, but it doesn´t seem to make any difference. I tried an LG fast charger too but it doesn´t help. In Ampere it shows that I get from 300 to 500 mA when I am charging.

do you charge via usb or using the wallmount adapter?

I'm sorry to hear about the charge timeframe.

So that we can rule out third-party, it may be a good idea to boot to Safe Mode and then test the charge time.

The safe mode didn´t affect the charging but after few reboots, the phone seems to charge a bit faster. In Ampere the phone hits 1030 mA which still feels pretty slow compared to my last phone (LG G5). Are those numbers normal?
