      <title>Proximity sensor is turn on always</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&lt;BR /&gt;I have a problem with my xperia xz&lt;BR /&gt;From when I did update to Android 7.1.1&lt;BR /&gt;The light or proximity sensor is always on and I can see a red light from sensor in dark!&lt;BR /&gt;Befor, if I turned of the adaptive brightness the sensor turn of and i couldn't see the red light from sensor!&lt;BR /&gt;But now and after be updating to Android 7.1.1, I always see the red light from sensor even when the adaptive brightness be turn of.&lt;BR /&gt;When I can't t see the red light that I turn airplane mode on!!!&lt;BR /&gt;Please help me&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I am sorry to hear about this issue.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you experience issues with an update then I recommend you perform a &lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/c-sonymobile/software+repair+using+Xperia+Companion/pd-p/software_repair_2" class="lia-product-mention" data-product="190-1"&gt;software repair using Xperia Companion&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;as this will usually resolve the issue for you.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;With proximity sensor problems, they are often caused by screen protectors. If the software repair doesn't help, try removing the screen protector.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
