Setting SD card as default saving location on XZ

Like there is on many Samsung phones Is there a way to set the SD card as the default location for file downloads?

Ive worked out how to transfer apps and individual files in file commander but really hoping the default for files can be changed. If not how do I raise this with Sony. As a long time loyal user this is now my biggest UX bugs.

Unfortunately no, as far as I know, Even galaxy s6-s7 did not have adoptable storage enabled out of the box./

I guess you can't have any problem with XZ storage. Cus it's 64 Gb.

When you are using sd card you can move some downloaded apps data to sd card by this way:

Settings > Apps > select an app > storage > move to sd card.

All apps not allowed to move.

Also you can choose sd card for save your taked pictures and videos at camear app settings.

But you can't change the sd card storage with internal storage.

There is some ways that must root or also unlocking bootloader.

This ways override your warranty and it's bad for your device.
