90 points good - very good

Sony MDR-1000X wireless with AptX Codec

92 points very good

Bowers & Wilkins P7 wireless with AptX Codec

95 points - very good and impressive

Sony MDR-1000X wireless with LDAC Codec

97 points - small step away from reference

Sony XBA-H3

Sony MDR-1R with Sony PHA-1A USB DAC

Sony MDR-1 ADAC (integrated DAC)

100 points - reference class

Bowers & Wilkins P9 with Sony TA-ZH1 ES DAC

120 points - heaven's gate

Sony TA-ZH1 ES DAC with Sony MDR-Z1R

I tried out the latest and most expensive Sony Walkman, the NW-WM1Z with the Sony MDR-Z1R and the Sony TA-ZH1 ES DAC and there was no difference to the Sony Xperia X coupled with these devices (!!!). The Xperia X is capable of transferring HighRes Music with up to 24bit 192KHz and Direct Stream Digital to the Sony DAC.
