Ambient display can't turn off tap to show lock screen,also can't open notification content

When you use Ambient display (Always-on display) double tap to show screen function comes out again, even if you have turned it off.

Please make the Ambient display like other android phone ,When you have a notification, you only need to double-click the notification icon on Ambient display , the screen will be automatically unlocked with face recognition and open the notification content directly,Not only stop at the lock screen.

I can't say I would want that.

Ambient display works fine for me, I'm not going to use the double tap to wake.

Double tapping the display shows the lock screen for me, and thats enough to either leave it, or unlock it to check notifications.

The double tapping shows the lock screen option better also working on Ambient display ,choose for people with different habits. Now it feels more like bug ,I dnon't know ,maybe Sony missed this or want it to. If want to leave it you just don't tap the icon ，tap the empty space to wake screen if you like, very simple. For people who want to looking directly at the notification content can save a lot of steps from Ambient display , This is a good feature, many brand phones do this right now. Hope sony will think about it.
