topic SD card error in 1 Series

SD card error

Hi,

I just transfer all my data over to the new xperia 1. I was testing ty camera but when I took a pic it will prompt memory card error: SD card unavailable.

On checking the folder the pic did get taken and was saved I was able to see it. Any idea what could be the issue?

I got similar problem saying SD card error when open camera app in both Xperia 1 and previous XZ Premium, suspect a bug in camera app. I have tried 2 different SD cards and the content read write properly in other apps in the phone.

Hope to see a solution for this as it happens occassionally when using camera app (not every time).

Thank for the update, looks like might be a software bug, i will be replacing my old sd card later in the weekend and will see if it resolves the issue, will update back once i done it

i have reloaded and transfer to a new SanDisk Ultra 200GB SD Card but the error still persist when i amd trying to take any pictures.

When i launch the camera it will close with SD Card error. i find that it can only work after doing it for 2-3 times then it will finally be able to take the picture

thatNot surprising xz premium got　　these bugs too /t5/Xperia-XZ-Premium/Sony-Xperia-XZP-received-Mar-amp-Apr-2019-security-patches-quot/td-p/1370977 seems like they won't fix it.

I think the problem seems to be related to SD Card read and Write speed, as my SD Card is quite loaded each time I use it on my X1 I will encounter the SD Card error. If I was to use a empty SD Card this error does not seem to appear.
