USB host not working but headphones and charger do work.

Been into running processes and USB connection is dormant when plugging USB otg in its if the phone is not picking up that a USB drive being inserted.

Hi @Kevinaparton, let me see if I can help out here.

That sounds a bit strange, Xperia 1 do have support for OTG Host, it might require a reboot with the cable and the drive attached. Have you tried rebooting the phone with the OTG cable and the USB drive attached?

try this and let me know how it goes!

Settings - System - Advanced - Developer Options - Default USB Configuration..

What does it say as standard with this selected, and nothing plugged in.?

I've set that to file transfer and still nothing with otg and only charge on pc.

I've turned off cloud backup system reboot and still no joy.

I thinking it's a problem with root file I've noticed the cached file is only 4.7 mb but on my old Xperia it 20 mb

Sorted the problem ended up doing factory reinstall.
