Multi window with other launcher

Hi, usually I use Microsoft Launcher in my phones, but with the Xperia 1 I can't use the multi window functionality with this launcher, why?

It only works with the default launcher.

I've an Xperia XZ and one XA1 and both can do multi window with any launcher.

Hi @DJCorreia, let me see if I can help out here.

Do you receive any kind of error message when you try to use split screen on your Xperia 1? The way to use split screen has changed a bit since the XZ and the XA1-series. In order to view two apps at the same time in split screen on your Xperia 1, please follow the steps below.

Make sure that the two applications that you want to use in Split screen mode are open and running in the background.
Swipe up on (Home button) to open the recently used applications window or tap the recent apps icon if you are not using gestures..
Swipe left or right to find an application that you would like to use in Split screen mode.
Tap the application icon at the top of the application tap Split screen (not available on all apps).
Swipe to find and tap the second application. If you want to resize the split screen windows, drag the split screen border up or down between the apps.
To exit Split screen mode, drag the split screen border to the top of the screen.

Do note though that not all apps support the split screen view. Let me know if that helped!

Thank you very much for you help, it works now

What I've tryed before was start the split screen functionality from the sensor menu, and when I was tryed, it was pop up a mesage telling that multi window doesn't work with microsoft launcher.

But doing it like you said it works perfectly.
