Removing left page (1st page)

I just bought the SONY XPERIA ONE, upgrading from the xz premium (latest software)...

Now when I scroll to the left I am greeted with a page full of football and latest news...

I don't want this, I want to be able to put things there that I want... How can I do this please?

I want to be able to put the calander there and weather widgets... And also a few apps I hardly use but when I do I want quick access to them.

Hi @IanEvans, congratulations on your new device and welcome to our community!

The launcher in the Xperia 1 and Xperia 5 is a bit different from before and you can only remove the page that is to the left, all the other pages/panes will be added to the right.

To remove it, tap and hold on an empty area of the home screen > Home Settings > turn off "Show Google App".

If you really want to be able to swipe to the left and have your calendar, weather widget and so forth there, you will need to download a different launcher from the Google Play store. There should be plenty of options to choose from if you just search for "Launcher".

I hope that answers your question at least, but I understand it's not the answer you were looking for.
